We often confuse the needs of our soul with the whims and desires of our ego. We confuse our values, which are temporal and shift with the times (even when we fail to update them), with our core principles, which are timeless and must always guide us. We confuse what is conventional, what satisfies society and the status quo and earns us comfort and majority approval, with conscience: the inner voice, those irreducible callings that bring us genuine peace, even if they do not always earn the applause of the crowd.
In short, we get confused because we so often cannot hear what some call the superconsciousness: the field of innate transcendent programming, or the voice of the divine speaking to the creature. Developing our capacity to hear this voice is what makes us better leaders and better guides for ourselves and, consequently, for others.
Our Teams Reflect Who We Are
Our teams, our organizations, and the results we achieve are a mirror of who we are. There is no use looking outward if we are not first seeking the deeper causes of our current reality within ourselves. We simply cannot be good guides for children, people, communities, teams, or businesses if we are disconnected from ourselves. To present life and business concepts while living their opposite is not only a waste of time and an illusion, it creates psychic and collective ruptures.
Listening to our conscience and our superconsciousness, and truly seeking to understand not only what our soul desires but what it needs, helps us lead with meaning, purpose, and responsibility. Leadership of others always begins with leadership of oneself. Our work with others will always be a consequence of the inner work we are doing within ourselves.
A Happy Soul Multiplies
A fulfilled soul influences the fulfillment of countless others. This is not a metaphor: it is one of the most practical truths in leadership development. When a leader is aligned with their deeper values and genuinely connected to their purpose, that alignment radiates through every conversation, every decision, and every relationship in the organization.
